Fescue Turf Care
Even though pre emergent weed controls have already been applied, Post emergent weed control should be applied to reduce the amount of weeds present in the turf. This will allow fescue to mature and reduce weed pressure prior to the warm summer days. Applying lime to all turf areas is always a good idea! If you have a sold stand of fescue turf, it will need to be protected duting the wet humid months of the summer. Starting in May, we recommend applying fungicides with iron to combat brown patch and to keep a deep green color. Always remember, water fescue in the morning!!
